Ok so i have a backup of 'The Darkness' but its PAL... but according to a compatibility list it plays on a NTSC U system. Is this true? Im out of dvd's right now so i havnt burned it to test it.

I thought all PAL games would ONLY work on PAL?

not sure, but a lot of games that say PAL will play on NTSC systems and vice versa.
