hi my psp is ver2.82 to upgrade it to 3.40oe-a i should upgrade it to 3.03 then downgrade to 1.5 right? i'm afraid of downgrading bcoz it might brick my psp... can i now if dark alex's downgrader is the best downgrader there is that has a very small chance of bricking my psp

You need GTA:LS (Unpatched) to downgrade from 3.03 or Lumines 1 (unpatched) to downgrade from 3.50

DA didn't make downgraders. Noobz.eu and Team C+D make downgraders.
Downgrading has the same risk as updating with Sony firmwares.
Just read instructions and follow other threads on specific topic before attempting.
