Ok guys got a problem

i am trying to flash my ms28.

now i have NTFSDOS on disc and i use that to boot into dos.

now i use Xtreme Boot maker and i create a boot to my C:/ with Xtreme 52

i run everything and run the samread, it detects my Via card, i power off my xbox select my card, and wait 10 secs.

i turn the power back on to the xbox and i get a
1% control. break pressed error.

and it tells me my orig.bin is not the right size.

please i need your help

Do you already have a copy of your orig bin?
I would stay away from samread or samhack as they can give you trouble.

are trying to flash your orig.bin back on? why would it say orig.bin not right size.

I have read these sort of problems before and its always when people use sam read/hack or xread/hack.
I would try the mtkflash commands and see if that works

when you get to dos and you typed samread xxxxx xxxxxxx
type mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin instead and see if that dumps the orig firmware properly

ok now i have a new problem now its saying orig.bin not found.

but it must be there cause my 360 is still working properly

any step by step guides on flashing would be good, just as u say without using samread/hack or xread/flash

Once you get into dos using your ntfs cd follow PS2's guide which can be found here
