what firmware were you on, if you were on custom firmware hold the right trigger when turning it on and it will bring up the recovery,
but it sounds like a brick to me

Try pressing the brightness button. It does not sound like a brick, becuase the green light did not turn off by itself.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

i was thinking if its not a brick and the recovery menu still works, its just the LCD well turning it on while pressing the r button should access the recovery menu even though you cant see it, so just turn it on while pressing the r button, leave it like this for a while, that way we make sure the recovery menu is on then press X, this enables the USB mode because it is the first feature on the recovery menu, connect it to the computer if you are able to acces the umd mode then you can put the recovery files and recover, i dont know if this idea works or not but at least its something right?

It's a brick. Unless when you hold R while turning it on and it brings up recovery mode, it's a brick. There's nothing more to it.

lol ok im sorry i was in a hurry, but ok it think i can help more than that.

OK shall i begin:

First go to network settings, then choose infrastructure mode, go to new connections and you will encounter some options; first put your SSID, if you don't know it press scan (i recommend this) and choose your connection, afterwards you have to put the security settings, although if you're near a hot spot and in the scan it indicates no security this is best, free Internet ;), after you choose the SSID and The security settings it will say address setting i recommend you choose EASY afterward enter the name you want to put this connection as (i.e the name it will appear in your PSP) and then press test(optional) to check your settings, then go to the browser and connect via the connection you made and you should be connected to the Internet :)

hope this helps

About the mobo i really dont know what they cost, google it i guess, but if you have a mobo with 1.50 and you put it on a psp i guess it could work, but im still unsure still i have to agree
