how to downgrade 3.40 oe-a to 1.5FW?

its a custom firmware 3.40 oe-a, I was wondering if I can make it back to 1.5?

you need the 1.5 recovery winstaller to get back to 1.5FW

Yeah, if you are sure you want to then download the Firmware 1.5 Recovery Winstaller. After it is downloaded turn on your PSP and format your memory-stick from the PSP menu. After it is done being formatted go into USB Mode, run the Winstaller and it will walk you through everything. Now insure your battery is at least at a 75% charge, if not plug your PSP in and wait. After it is done charging turn the PSP off by holding the power button until the power goes off. Then while holding the "R" trigger button turn the PSP on. You should see a menu like this...



Now with your battery charged and your charger cable plugged in run the third option from the menu, it should read something like this "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP". After it is done you should be back at firmware 1.5!
