i've may have heard that 3.4 can run some homebrew apps. is it possible not to downgrade to ver1.5? do i need devhook or whatever? do i need ISO files for games? newbie here please help i'm itching to play already.. :) :)

another thing, and what's the diff between 3.40 and 3.40OE? whats open edition for? HELP PLEASE THANK YOUUUUUUU

Your goal would be to get to 3.40OE. It lets you do all that you wanted. First, you need to downgrade to 1.5 via 3.50 though.

You will need to get Lumines, the actual game umd.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
