I have 3.10 OE-A and need to fake out a game to think thats my psp is firmware 3.40. I know there is something like thisn for 1.50 but is there one for 3.10 Oe-A?

just upgrade to 3.40 oe-a. google it. its a lot better than what your running. what game is it?

o. well at least update to 3.03 oe-c. there is a winstaller for it. its so great. so wait, shed some more light on the subject. what exactly does IR shell do? ive never really gotten into it

Its like a device maniger on you psp so you can see every file that is on your memory card and go into any folder and copy and paste and rename files on your psp. You can also copy files that are on your computer to you psp using usb cord or wifi. You can also play isos that are on your computer on the psp by either using a usb cord or wifi as long as oytu computer is on. It can also do a coulpe more things.

Interesting. I may have to give that a try...I could use my psp as a remote for my TV!!

I wonder if you could change the FW version number when you use UMDgen or something-because I know that when you are creating an iso using that, there is a little text file that tells you what FW the game requires-Maybe you could manipulate that somehow?
