I Cant Use Hotswap to Restore my HDD

I have a system 16 error after it shows the xbox startup screen. It doesnt play games or cds. I cant use hotswap and hd maker to fix my xbox hdd. Is there any other way to fix it?

Why can't you Hotswap?

Unplug the DVD drive and it will go to an Error 12. You can the hotswap!

i cant hotswap because my pc needs to have 2 IDE cords and it doesnt

If you have the eeprom file saved you can boot to the xboxhdm locking utilities, unlock the drive, reboot and install, and then reboot again and lock it.

The Xbox has an IDE cable, use that...

why would he need 2 ide cables if he just takes the one off his pc hd and boots an xbhdm disk?

in the hotswap tut, it says your pc needs to have 2 ide cords. i did what it said anywaay and turned the pc on and it said Operating System Not Found instead of that other crap.

You need one for the HDD and one for the DVD!

so if i deleted my xbox C and E drive what tutorial should i follow to make it seem as if it were new?

so if i have my pcs hard drive and a a floppy disc drive, all i have to do is take the ide out of the floppy disc drive and put it in the xbox ide slot?
