Codebreaker v9.3 IGNORE I FIXED IT

Ive had this codebreaker for about 3 months now, i was using it last night on nfs and it was working fine but then i tried to restart and it wont start up. It will have the playstaion 2 screen then after that it will flicker on me TV then after about 5 minutes the pelican screen will come on loading EXTREMLY slow but never change to the next screen where it loads the cheats. it did this with my other ps2 and i switched them for a little but now its doing it with both of them. Wut can i do to make it work again???
