i just got PMP VlC player OE by jockyW

i really have no interest in steaming live tv or dvds, i mainly downloaded it to watch my movie files without having to convert them

is it possible?

im using 3.03 OE-C. when i boot vlc player i go to select file and then choose video. my files sure enough appear but when i open them the loading screen appears for around 30 seconds and then my psp powers off

what can i do?

(ok as im writing this ive done some research and it seems like you can only stream, is this correct? if so is there any app that can decode and play AVI files?)
