Swap magic is a boot disc that allows you to play imported or backup games, for you might know them as homebrews?

No idea how it works..

swap magic is a system of 2 discs, one cd and one dvd, and comes either with a flip-top (replaces original ps2 top with a flip similar to slimline ps2) or slide tool (little plastic tool that allows you to slide the disk tray out without the ps2 knowing). you can purchase swap magic from various website ranging from $25 to $40 bucks. I purchased mine from AllModChip.com for $23.95, free shipping, and the slide tool free (flip-top add $3) Basically swap magic allows you to play burned ps2 games. you just load up the swap magic disc when it gets to the load program screen to either flip the top or use the slide tool, pop in your burned game, and hit load program and your off and playing just like a normal game.

i have swap magic and as far as what i want it works great i've never had any problems at all. i have fat ps2 and have flip-top and its better than the slide tool, imo.
