first off im new to these parts, but i was scared so $hitless when my psp finnaly downgraded and upgraded to 3.4OE, but what scared me was when i first restarted my psp after upgrading that for like a minute the screen was black(but you could tell it was still getting power) and the light was on, i waited for a minute before it actually started, i was so afraid i was bricked, but what im wondering is if this happens to everybody or if god just wanted a good laugh

When i upgraded it only took around 5 seconds for it to boot up :)

it didnt take me 10 minutes but it took 3 minutes and then it shutoff. as soon as i turned it back on it worked again, no brick ! :) but that was a couple of weeks ago

I think if you press the brightness button, screen will turn on immedietely
