1. I keep getting DNS errors all the time with using wireless. The signal strength varies between 65% and 100% all the time. I assumed this was the problem, but I've been told this isn't the problemo.


2. Can I install anything other than Linux on the PS3? I;m not fond of Linux

the answers to your questions my friend.

1. try resetting your router, fixed my dns errors


2. you can only really install linux, but there are loads of versions, you could probably get one that looks and works l;ike xp, its installing it thats the hard part

Resetting the router doesn't do jack.

All the settings are correct, the firewall is configured correctly.

Occasionally I can connect to the PSN and I can browse the store etc, but most times I can't because the DNS error.

Even when I shift the PS3 to within a metre of the router, it still has errors, yet the signal strength is 100%
