My son is 12 and a half and I said if he started doing a couple of chores I would pay for him to have a monthly gold subcription to xbox live. signed him up with his details and all worked fine until he wanted to play need for speed carbon. it seems to be that ea's servers won't allow under 13's to set up profiles with them, anyway I rang xbox UK and said I'd put the wrong year in and that he is really 13 (so he could play ea games online - seeing as i'm his parent i think he should be able to, as it would still be an under 18 account I could still restrict things like voice etc and protect him from untoward users elsewhere in the world - and i'm usually about when he's playing anyway). microsoft said they can change every aspect of the account but the date of birth, cancelled the gold subscription and said I need to set up a new one. fair enough, but how do i set up a new live account using his profile??? if i make a new profile he can't use his old saved games online (which he's worked really hard at). can i delete the account and set up a new profile with name he had on the xbox360 before the first gamertag was applied???
