How do I tell if Luminous is unpatched?

I want to downgrade so I can use the custom firmware, but I need to rent Luminous for it. I just want to know if it's unpatched or not... how do I find out?

The good news, so far no Lumines games are patched, and you can use the greatest hits version as well as far as i know.

Funny thing here in the UK, you can still pick up a copy of Lumines for as little as £7 :)

EDIT: Turns out in Japan they are already shipping a patched version of Lumines as of a few days ago

Okay. Thanks! How exactly do I downgrade my PSP? I'm using a Mac Os X, would it be any different?

No, the downgrade process will be exactly the same as with pc's. (Unless you use a program to do it for you, not sure if they work on mac's)
