PSPlayer Won't Play AVI... HELP !!!!

Guys !!!! I installed PSPlayer onto my PSP. It plays some AVIs but it won't play others. I think it has to do with the codec in the AVI movies that won't allow it to play on the PSP. What should I do? How should I correct this?
