Breaker Pro Help

I recently bought a Breaker Pro, along with a flip top. After a small ordeal, I got the flip top installed, and it runs games and CDs just fine. However, when I put in the Breaker Pro, it clicks loudly, and the menu doesn't come up, instead, after a few moments, it returns to the Playstation Browser.

Do I have to keep trying, or does the Breaker Pro just not work well with the PS2?
