usb advance not working. help?

ok i have the usb advance elf file on my hdd and load it up in action replay max. it goes but it tells me to hook a usb drive up to it. it is hooked up, thats how im running the program.

anyone wanna help me?

Maybe USBAdvance dosen't detect the HDD if the program is launched off it. Try another HDD and/or loading to program from a memory card.
