I posted the following in the audio forum as well - I didn't know which would be more appropriate.

How would I burn an audio CD that will work in a standalone player but would also contain file data in the pre-gap before track 01? I understand that zero track has gone out of favor but I wanted to experiment with alternatives to CD Extra and mixed-mode CDs.
