When I try to shrink the movie Pride with DVDShrink 3.2 it gives me this error message. Used AnyDVD 6.1.6.5 to decrypt, then tried DVDShrink.
Have unclicked "Enable Overlapped I/O" with no results.
Any more ideas?

What happens if you use 'Reauthor' and drag 'Title 1' from right to left' then 'Backup'?

I have never used re-author. Looked at Help and didn't see what I thought you were talking about. Can you tell me where to go to see the steps, or how to do it? Thanks

Thanks for the invitation to ask more questions, here goes: After I start DVDShrink, do I have to click Open Disc? This is where I am blocked. It either gives me the "overlapped" error, or if I unclick the overlap, it tells me "failed to read D:".

If I start the program, then click "Reauthor" it shows an Audio TS and a Video TS file on the right. But I never get the main movie files, etc. as were shown in the sample screen of instructions.

Or you can try dvdfab hd to get it onto your H/D first and then use shrink.

DVDShrink doesn't open many newer movies due to new copy protections and Shrink not being updated in a few years.
321obbig has the right idea and next step.
Honestly I wouldnt know what movies shrink will work on w/o help anymore since it is hit or miss.
Use DVDFab to put it on your hard drive, then click the folder icon that says "OPEN FILES" and find your movie. Its that easy.
