Bottom of screen cut off on Tiger Woods backup

I have Tiger Woods 07 and my backup has a slight issue. The screen is too big for my tv. It is not so horribly bad that the game is unplayable but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this and/or fixed this. I use SM 3.8 to boot the game. It is it possibly a problem with the PS2 setup for my screen size? I have a 16:9 screen and have that option set in PS2 config.

Is your backup possibly a PAL version instead of NTSC.
That would be one reason why it is cut off, and even though there are converters from PAL to NTSC, I personally have never gotten it too work great.

there is always screen cut off using Swap Magic to play games from other regions. One of it's problems. Only way to avoid that is getting a good mod chip installed, or get every game for your own region

I rebuilt the game using isobuster, cdvdgen, and iml2iso then burned with dvd decrypter and the problem "fixed" itself. Strange.

A friend did the first one for me. I had yet to try backing up games and he said he could do it. He used the generic EA patch in Xpert 2. His game was also cut off on the back up version. I explained the method I used to him and he was able to get it to work as well.
