My question being.....I used Swap Magic 3.8 on my ps2 for my personal backups, with the flip top mod. Now with my new PS3, I know there is no such mod out yet unless I modify the case and some of the insides, but I am also aware that SM 3.8 has a capability to boot programs, I presume from a USB drive, so I am wondering if there are any programs out there I can use on my flash drive to boot from the SM 3.8 so I can play my backups of my ps2 games. Not sure if this sounds confusing or just dumb, but I would like to see whats out there. I would like to find this out so I can decide wether I want to give my son my old ps2 for his mothers house or keep it for my backups. Please let me know if anything like this is possible.

I know what your getting at and no, not on your firmware you can't use swap magic. Keep the PS2.
