Speed up save and load times.

I have bought a 32 MB MAX memory card for use with my PS2 saves. It works great. However, the save and load times (save particularly) are longer then any other memory card. Is there a way to speed them up?

not that i know of. I know some games take longer to save then others. I use the Max Memory card (i think 16MB) and noticed that some games like San Andreas took a bit to save your game. Loading times were really not effected though.
