which programs should i use and how should i do it if i only have 1 dvd drive?

Um, you're in the MEDIA forum -- the forum for questions about media. Try the newbies forum (DVD+/-R for Newbies) and you should get lots of help. The more info you can give, though, the better -- e.g. your system set-up, which programs you have, what kind of DVD drive, etc. etc.
