i have an acer travelmate 240 running on windows xp and for some reason it won't boot up. it keeps telling me that setup is not complete and to redo the setup. after that, it'll restart. i've tried safe mode and i've also tried booting straight from the disc drive but none of it works. it just says the same thing. any ideas on how to go about fixing this problem? i don't have a boot disc, all i have is a windows xp installation disc.

You could try booting with the last known good configuration.
