Hey, i made a bet with my friend that i could fix his psp. The problem is that as soon as you close the UMD drive, the error message appears saying (The Disc could not be read!). The PSP doesn't make any attempt to read the disc, the drive motors do not spin aimlessly trying to read the disc like normal video game systems. Is this a fixable problem? Or should i buy a replacement part?

I have also got this problem. Have you fixed it yet?
