Hello. I searched the site, but didn't see this addressed. i like to record a show that is presented twice daily, weekdays, at 5PM and 5:30 PM. When I tried to set the recording on the 8300HD, I used the setting ALL EPISODES/SAVE ALL EPISODES. I was then given the option to record ANY DAY IN THIS TIME SLOT, which I selected. However, when I went back to review my scheduled recordings, only the 5:30 PM episodes were saved and set to record. I cleared all schedule recordings and started over. First I chose the 5 PM episodes and save that, and all was well. When I went back and programmed the 5:30 Episodes, the 5PM episodes were cleared.
The option to record ON THIS CHANNEL AT ANY TIME produced the results of all showings being saved, but included 2 episodes at 7 and 7:30 PM. This can present a storage problem, particularly if you choose a program on a network like MTV where they sometimes show all-day marathons.
I hope I explained this clearly in order to get some help. I'm a Comcast Subscriber in NJ, and the box is set up as a DUAL TUNER.
