Alright heres the thing, I pay World of Warcraft. the minimum RAM requirement for that is 512mb. I have, 512mb. But..the minimum requirement for vista to run properly, is 1gb of RAM. So I'm wondering if I down-grade to Windows XP professional, if I will lose anything on my computer? Like my saved stuff, programs, etc. Help me out :]

Everything you want to keep you must save it somewhere else. You will have to completely remove Vista, and reformat the c: partition, otherwise the windows xp setup bootdisk will have problems during installation.

If you want to save everything you might want to consider just doing a dual boot, so you can keep your Vista and all it's programs. Below are the directions if you want to go that route.
