Hey guys i was wonderinf if i have the TA-082 because my psp was the japanese release and was 1.00 you guys think i have a TA-082 please help and on my box it didnt show no letter so it said if it was no letter it might be 1.50 or 1.00 any of you guys think i have a TA-082 motherboard?

hello Yupjason:

There is a way to see if your motherboard is a Ta-082 without opening the psp.

just open the umd "door" and on the right upper corner if it says IC1003 it is a TA-082 and if it is a IC6001 on the upper LEFT side it is ok.

I saw my psp motherboard number and it Said IC6001 at the left side of the umd thingy...
and on the right there is nothing its blank so am i safe to downgrade? cause i got a 3.5 psp

yep mine says that to is it safe to downgrade from 3.50
