Hi,

I recently modded my pstwo V15 SCPH77003 with a matrix infinity green dot chip and now when i turn on the ps2 all it does is stays on a black screen. (my monitor doesnt receive any signal). when i turn it on, it powers up normally then after a few seconds powers down into kind of a low power state which it stays there forever and does nothing. the lase also makes a noise twice as if its trying to read but then does nothing.

Please can someone help.

Ok, first things first, you need to check all solder connections and make sure they are all secure, and you have not left any dry joints, dry joints also known as cold joints are wires your have soldered that are not really in contact well enough or not at all, so you need to double check. You also need to make sure that you did not bridge any connections when installing the mod chip.
