Problem with playing back on Toshiba 3900 DVD player

Hi:
I was able to burn a DVD+R with DVDX Copy Express for a movie that could not fit into one disc, ie, Shanghai Knights. It said successful burning, but then when I play on my Toshiba 3900 DVD player (and also Toshiba 4900), it said "Disc Error". The weird thing is that I could play with my Pioneer DVR-A06 burner.

I use Nero Ultra 6.0 burner, instead of the default burner in DVD X Copy.

Can you shred some lights on this? Do I need to upgrade any software?
