ok so im about to swap my banned hitachi for an unbanned samsung... i just use some cheap sata to usb converter to flash my hitachi and i works no problems... now i know this isnt going to be the case with a samsung... but will xecuter connectivity kit or anything allow me to flash without buying a new sata card... i dont see how so i was looking for some confirmation? or if there are any alternatives which would mean i woudnt need a new sata card... also has anybody attempted the dual boot firmware... im guessing this would enable you to have a firmware with extreme and play dvd5s and then ixtreme to go online with full security checked software... is this correct?

I haven't seen anyone have dual-boot firmware unless you get a mod-chip. Otherwise, you'll need a VIA chipset to flash the Samsung. I reccommend a VIA VT6421 (runs about $15)
