hi, i just bought a psp from france were i was on vacation and i came back to america where i live
when i try to put a movie in it wont work it says wrong region
can some1 plz tell me how to change regions
plz i need help really bad spent to much money on psp, thanks

Yea, you cant theres no hack, if theres any it will requiring writing to the PSP flash, but then sony alway fixes it... Custom Firmware works for region movies however u can only get custom firmware if your psp firmware is 3.50 n u have a copy of lumines
Edit: i said region games instead of region movies...(there are no region games for psp)

not just 3.50, any f.w beyond 3.03 need lumines to downgrade

i read and it says i can downgrade from 3.03 to 1.5 with gta, will this allow mw to watch the us movies?

I think so, but you need an unpatched version of gta lcs

When you put it in your PSP and it will have 2 things (like always) It should have a icon called UMD, and a icon that says PSP Update ver 2.00 if its not version 2.00 on your gta:lcs it is patched. Also just to say only games that work is unpatched LCS and unpatched Lumines(PSP Update ver 3.50, 3.51 is patched)
What psp version is yours? Go to the settings tab-system settings-system information-system software X.XX

downnload the 3.03 downgrader from http://dl.qj.net and then once ur at 1.50 upgrade to a custom firmware such as 3.40 OE-A or 3.51 M33

when u download the downgrader, read the readme it has a step by step guide to downgrade...

You can get the file off www.psp-hacks.com . Then you can upgrade it to 3.40 oe-a.
