I have a softmodded xbox and it has worked fine for 2 years, now all of a sudden i get this screen that comes up and says service required and to call customer support, Obviously i cant call customer support, does anyone know what this could be or how to fix it. The xbox will play game discs but thats it. Thanks for your help. The LED light flashes if that helps. Thanks.

If it's playing games, insert a newish game that supports Xbox Live and try to connect to Live.

I found out that if you format the c drive and then reinstall the ms dash that will fix it too

Yeah, it's a corrupt dash, but the disc trick normally works!
