the harley g cfw was one of the first cfw to be released just after the proof of concept fw from dark alex came out. it is fw 1.50 and was the first to use a recovery menu. it also had built in code so on start up you could switch between devhook or the 1.50 cfw, this made it work alittle like the up modchip when it was first released.it was the best 1.50 cfw released but after 2.71 se came out it faded back into the shadows

Anyway, once you are on 1.5, just choose any custom firmware you want, and upgrade to it. 3.40OE or 3.51 M33 are what I would recommand. 3.40OE is made by Dark Alex who just left the scene. It's most stable and supports almost everything. 3.51 m33 might be needed for the newest games.
