Thanks to the help of this forum, I have been burning DVDs successfully for some time now until today. I have reached a hurdle with the DVD movie called The Pursiut of Happiness. Ironically, I find myself frustrated in the pursuit.

Find below the burn error. I am not even close to being able to decipher these yet. Can anyone please assist?

Try ripping the DVD w/ DVDFAB HD Decrypter and then use Shrink or Recode to compress the DVD

Just to add to what Car.Mike has suggested.

Using FREE tools....
The process you should take is (seems to get the best results IMHO):

1)Rip using DVDFab decrypter
2)Process the video files thru FixVTS
3)Open the files using DVD shrink for reauthoring/transcoding etc..
4)Have shrink auto-burn the files to DVD disk using DVD decrypter (ISO files) or Nero (both ISO image files or standard video files .bup, .ifo,.vob)

Note: you can also manually burn the files as well using the same apps, imgburn, Roxio, or what ever you favorite app is (remember to burn no greater than 1/2 the rated speed of the media).

Here you can get FixVTS (free) and a simple guide on use.

I will try the FixVTS tool as well. Any other ideas?

The reason why Nero stopped the burning process is because of this:

DVD-Video files reallocation failed

This indicates a video structure problem.

You need to process the video files ripped to your hard drive thru FixVTS first to correct this, then open the corrected files using shrink.

Update your Nero Version also to the current version. I did this movie and had no problems using DVDFAB but I did not use Nero. Used DVDFAB HD Decrypter and then used DVDRebuilder-Pro w/ no problems.
