PVR-802W Spindle Motor not working

Hey guys, I just got a new pvr 802w lens with assembly kit for a ps2 that had a spu-3170. I tried to just plug it in, but still it can't read any cd or dvd. What should I do? How do I know if I have to ajust something? The lens travels the rail but the spindle doesn't turn. I do get the sony welcome screen, but it says that there is nothing to read.

opps my bad forgot anti static point and I needed the lid on because of to much light
