do i need a program tht will run the ps2 game on my computer. becasue when i load one in it to burn. there is no data saying tht the dvd ps2 game is in it

no, any DVD burner SHOULD read your PS2 game as a disc. They you just use something like DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120% to read it and make the ISO

well when i put it in my dvd burner it says there is nothin in the drive? do i need to adjust something on the drive

you can try updating the firmware, but i have had 2 standard DVD burners (Sony & BenQ)and both of them could read a original PS2 disc just fine without having to do anything. have you tried a program like DVD Decrypter to see if that would read the disc?

mie is a memorex dvd rw and it reads dvd movies just fine. for some reason it wont read the ps2 dvd games

weird, i guess Memorex makes DVD burners that are of the same high standards as their DVD discs. Meaning that they suck.
I suggest you go get a better burner then, like a Pioneer, NEC, or BenQ. And you might as well get one that can booktype while your at it as that is a really nice things to be able to do (with DVD+R media only)

where would i find firmware for memorex dual+- format dvd recorder 16x? and how do i check to see wht firmware i have on it?
