i have a ps2 mod chip on my ps2 matrix infenity 1.93 and it will play all my ps2 games but will not play many that are on cd i have tried holding in restart button but it does not work can any one help

this was for older Matrix chips but you can try it.
Forcing PS1/DVD mode:
Press the circle from Joypad 1.
(We placed this option just in case someone need to force the PS2 to boot in PS1/DVD mode).
