Hello again,
I have updated to 3.5 now. I seem to be stuck there because when I run PSP Update ver X.YZ from the GAME menu it says
extracting special prx's from pbp... - Error decrypting DATA PSP - check UPDATE.PBP is a valid update EBOOT. I am actually on 3.50 HEN now if that helps anyone?
I tried to made sure that I didn't overwrite the PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP file. I even downloaded it again and reinstalled everything just to make sure. Anyone have any ideas, other than for noobs to kill themselves?

I got it. I'm on ver 1.5 now.
Will someone tell me which is the best custom firmware to update to? I was thinking to go with Dark Alex's 2.71 SE-B Custom Firmware. Has anyone had any problems with this?

OK!! Thank you so much. I am running 3.51 M33 now! Which files do I have to leave on the psp, if any?

I am at 3.11 on my PSP and am trying to update to 3.51. I have also tried to update to 3.30,3.40 and 3.50 an I have been getting a message stating "The system configuration of your PSP system seems to be incorrect. The update can not be completed. Please contact technical support. DRNFFFFFFD7" I called tech support and they had no clue. I bought this stupid thing on ebay, and jerk removed the warrenty sticker, so I cant get an exchange. Can anyone offer any assistance?
