There is a movie with Mickey Rourke (now fat and on drugs) called spun, which has some interesting 'tied up; scenes. Rent it, if it it out yet. It is a Wild Bunch release.
Sounds completely normal for people in BC. That is the most laided back, pro oddies place. Its great. I was considering going to University of British Columbia, but not enough money out there. Unless your into Homiapathy or Actupuncture.
