I installed a fliptop on my son's playstation and everything has worked well for a year. Then the swap magic boot disk would only work once in a while and now the boot disk will not load at all. A regular game will work, but the boot disk doesn't spin in the drive. I downloaded a new boot disk and tried it but got the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated my son is driving me crazy about playing his game and I don't want to start buying games again.
Firstly, you cant download boot-disks, you need an original boot disk, IE swap magic, for it to work, so if the swap magic you are using is scratched or damaged, thats probably why it does not work, whats the condition of the disk? Does the cd version still boot?
thats not entirly true the downloaded version do work but only after you have loaded the original. lets say you have sm 3.0 you boot it up and you downloaded sm 3.6 and put it on a dvd you can boot the 3.0 first remove it and put the 3.6 one in to now have the latest codes. thats they only way a burned copy will work
Yes, but unfortunately wworld2k is not able to use his original disk anymore since it does not work, otherwise he wouldnt be trying to load swap magic from a backup without any soft or hardware mod.
