HI, firstly i did try to search for an answer. But found nothing. So, if its answered somewhere please direct me there.

i am getting a softmod done today from someone, and i am keeping the original hard drive. I will be upgrading the hard drive myself.

So lets say if i somehow mess up and the softmod doesnt work with new hard drive... would i be able to swap in original hard drive and get it working again ?

Would it work or would i need to do something special ?

Yes, if you keep the original HDD intacr, you can just reinstall it!
