I read Geebee's firmware guide and I also read threw Textbook's, both perfect for a noob. Now I am ready to get to work, but before I go out and start buying things I may not need. Can someone let me know how to find out what type of on board Sata card i have?

If you boot to your PC,s bios, it should tell you there.

I checked my bios, but was not sure where or what to look for. Then i opened up my computer and right htere on the mother board it read VT8237R. so i guess im all set, plus i have T/S MS28 so i got pretty lucky with the card

Look up xBOXsCENE and make sure your chipset is compatible, if not, you may have to purchase a PCI VIA 6421 card.

thats what i was planning to do at first. then i found geebee's guide on xbox-scene and its says the vt8237 is good, Textbook also confirms this in his video for bad-flashing the ms28
