I have been reading alot of guides and posts and they all mention how the pioneer 112D is the best bet for burning. but alot of these post are from last year and i can not seem to find the pioneer at any local retailer. yeah i can order it, but if i just wanted to hit up compusa or best buy so i can get it today. what would be the most updated burner that i could use found on the shelves.

ha, u can use any dvd burner that supports dual layer burning, i burn games with my sony and lg burners, depends on what drive i accidently hit the button on first. Just make sure that it does +r dual layers

I just bought a Sony DRU-830A DVD-DL Drive about two months ago. I can't change the booktype on it. I tried with IMGburn the program I use to backup my ORIGINAL Xbox 360 Games with. I have a BENQ that the booktype can be changed and so I use that as my burner. If someone is going to make a backup of their ORIGINAL Xbox 360 Games, then the booktype MUST be changed to DVD-ROM if not you'll end up with a coaster.

well to keep it simple i ordered the 112D off of NewEgg. Hell it was cheaper to get that than any of the Burners at Best Buy or CompUsa. plus I order it yesterday after noon, standard $7.00 shipping and it is being deliverd today. So much for leaving the house this weekend
