Well , just got into backing up PS2 games and i see that Verbatim seems to be a good brand. I dont have the ability to order online so CompUSA is the only place i can get media.

I want to know if these DVD-R are ok for backing up PS2 games:

i heard that DVD+R Media for backups aint as good as DVD-R.

Ok when we are talking about Games The brand of DVD doesn't matter because it is a data based read to the PS2, Now when its Movies The brand matters a lot.

ex. A Sandisk 2GB Flash Drive and a Sony 2GB Flash Drive will have the same speeds and performance, but one will cost more money(Sony).

It really all dependes on the media. DVD-R is good for use with most PS2 games.
