i downloaded armax of bittorrent, this one. i followed the instructions i got from another forum:
Swap Magic Users (Copied DVD game boot):
1. Extract the archive
2. Burn the *.bin and *.cue on a CD-R
3. Load up Swap Magic CD version.
4. Put it in your PS2 and it will load CDloader.
5. Press X, then choose your options. (ARMAX US or ARMAX EU)
6. To load cheats, go to expert mode, and activate the desired cheats.
7. Press start.
8. Press X to execute the cheats. DO NOT DO ANY DISC SWAPPING YET.
9. By now the ACTION REPLAY DISC should load into the CDloader screen.
10.Refresh the TOC by inserting a high TOC retail DVD game (or Swap Magic DVD) using the normal insert the game method (i.e pressing the eject button).
11.Give it a while then, press X
12.When the screen asks you to swap disc. Now swap discs using the Slide Card or Slim tool method.
13. Press X.
14. Now enjoy.
im using SM v3.0 CD version (yea i know its old), it loads up to CDLoader, then i press X (step 5) then i choose ARMax US and then it goes to PS2 error "not a valid disk". when i try to follow the tutorial.txt that came with the rar it says take all the files on the armax disc and drag it into the CDgen and save as bin. when i do this it says error, file cannot be opened .../.../armax/intro.avi.
So really, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get it loading because i think its the intro.avi thats messing it up and sending me back to the PS2 error screen. any help would be appreciated. if anyone would like the armax iso i got, id send you a direct link for it, just pm me. thanks
