My cousins have the paid version of kazza and they think they can download copyrighted songs with no legal action, is this right, i don't think so. The paid version has nothing to do with the riaa right?

you're absolutely right. The paid version has doesn't protect them from legal actions. All they get spared from are the many pop up ads that appear on the screen.
