i installed a flip top case on my ps2 around last summer but a few days ago whenever i put a game in, it doesn't even spin. please help.

so you don't even hear it spin or get a disc read error?

my flip top case is clear so i can see it not spinning. i even tried it with no disc in at all and it only spins for half a second at most.
