HD-DVD Player Retuns To Walmart?

I lost the recipt for this, i was wondering if I would have trouble returning the HD-DVD player add on back to walmart and get a gift card for it.

I dont need the player anymore because i just got me a Toshiba HD-DVD A2 standalone player for $150

Wal-Mart will only return electronics without a reciept. So your in luck, but you will only recieve the money in store credit which isnt too bad.

wow, been shopping at walmart all these years and i never knew that! But they are still ripping you off, because in computer database they have that receipt electronically. They should be able to give you full refund if they wanted.

I live in Canada though but im sure the policies can't be that much different. You can return things even if you didn't buy them there they will just give you store credit for whatever they sell it for. Sometimes it takes a little persuading but i have always been able to return electronics there without a reciept.
